Don't get smashed!

Place a 2x4 flat where your garage door touches the concrete as it closes. Close the door with your opener control on the wall and let the door contact the 2x4. If the door does not come up automatically, then you need to adjust the sensitivity setting on the opener. See your operators manual or contact a qualified serviceperson.
